Battle vs Chess
I’m a big fan of chess, despite not being great at it. It’s always nice to see how game developers try to put a different spin on it as well, because they’ll all add something different to it. In Battle vs Chess, there are a few quirks to it, but what’s impressive is how polished the game feels. The 3D board is really well rendered, and each of the different pieces are fantastically drawn and have some intricate animations that flow really well. Watching your pieces engage in combat before they take another piece, or get taken, is really the standout feature.
You can also play it co-operatively, which can make things very interesting if you’ve got some company!
