Platformers aren’t really my thing, but Cloudbase Prime offers something different that makes it a little more fun than the average platformer. You’re able to modify the terrain – either moving it up or down – to progress, either by boosting yourself up or down, or your enemies. It’s great fun pinging your enemies up in the air, then throwing little yellow snowballs at them as they float down to their doom.
The game has some great humour, and some decent voice acting, and while it isn’t anything special graphically, it does benefit from a superb soundtrack. A great chiptune soundtrack that I could listen to all day long.
