Citizens of Earth – Mini Review!

What is it?

Citizens of Earth is an RPG game that sees you control the newly elected Vice President, in your quest to save the world! It’s a throwback to older RPGs, and is akin to Earthbound in the setting being a modern one, and it also bears a resemblance to Suikoden II, as you’ll be able to control dozens of different characters, each with their own special abilities and quests.

Pros
Cons
Great humour.
Colourful, vibrant world to explore.
A large amount of characters to interact with.
Plenty of side quests to delve into.
Enemies on the map, meaning you can avoid encounters if you wish.
Pacing issues.
Lots of grinding to do.
Doesn’t always give the greatest clues as to where to go and what to do.

Verdict:

I played this game with an open mind, and it did remind me of my favourite RPGs from the past, but it never really lived up to them. It’s definitely not a bad game, there is a lot to keep yourself busy with, and a stunning world to enjoy. It does have a fair share of problems, mainly surrounding pacing and the amount you need to grind to move up, but in general, the game is worth playing, even for a little bit.
