Pokemon GO – Mini Review!

What is it?

Pokemon Go is a mobile game that sees you go out and about in an attempt to catch Pokemon. They’ve recently added in Generation two, so there are even more reasons to get out and play the game.

Platform(s)

iOS & Android

Pros
Cons
Catching Pokemon is still fun.
Free with no ads.
Gets you up and about.
Generation 2 Pokemon are a nice addition.
Still a bit laggy.
Still can’t trade.
Really resource intensive.

Verdict:

Pokemon GO is still very much as it ever was. You run around, point your phone towards a Pokemon and try to flick your fingers to catch it. The reason for this second mini is that it has definitely evolved more than just a tad. The gyms have recently had an overhaul to make them more new-player friendly, which was certainly much-needed. There’s also a couple of small quality of life improvements that make this game really fun to play again. Definitely worth a play again, even if it’s just to try to pick up as many generation two Pokemon as you can.

Played Pokémon Go when it first came. Might be worth it to pick it up again!
