Zombie Army Trilogy is a game following a group of snipers as they fight their way through hordes of Nazi zombies out for their blood. It’s set in Germany during World War II, and although you would probably expect the game to be somewhat slow, as you are a sniper, it’s anything but. Hordes of the undead come at you at an alarming rate and you have to do your best to fend them off.

Great level design.
Brilliant musical score.
Slow-mo penetration of bullets into limbs is amazing to watch.
Plenty of replayability.
Disappointing amount of guns on offer.
Zombie Army Trilogy does for me what the campaign mode in Left 4 Dead never did – it gave me a frightening, yet enjoyable experience. Ploughing your way through all of the zombies from each of the three games is a fantastic experience and one I’d highly recommend. There’s so much to love in this game, with the only downside that comes to mind being the lack of weaponry. There were times playing it where I was genuinely creeped out by the horrifying surroundings, and that really is a testament to the developers incredible level design. It’s a game that would grace anybody’s library.
