If, like me, you’re a big fan of God of War, you’re going to like what Loot Crate have in store. They’ve managed to team up with Sony Interactive Entertainment ahead of the latest release in the franchise to create what looks to be one of the best Loot Crates yet.
If you’re unfamiliar with Loot Crates, the idea is that you pay them a small fee and they’ll send you a box filled with random gaming goodies. Some of the time they’ll be from games you’ve not played yet, and they do like to throw in a few wonderful indie surprises, but the contents of the box are generally a shirt and some nifty trinkets. With the God of War box, you know that what you’re going to get will be fantastic – it is God of War after all – but it will be impossible to guess. The surprises you have in the box are directly related to the upcoming game, slated for release on the 20th of April, meaning your experience will go beyond just the controller and console!
The crate is a bit hefty in price, coming in at around £50 including postage and packaging, but if I know the Loot Crate guys, they’ll load it with a lot of really cool gear.
