Utomik – October Updates

Another month goes by, and with it, Utomik have managed to capture some absolutely fantastic games for their platform. A decent spread this month too – almost every genre represented and an enormous amount of quality indie games to go along with it.

Yono and the Celestial Elephants

Where better to start than the groundbreaking game of Yono and the Celestial Elephants? This game is now in the record books as it became the first ever game to be released to a subscription based platform on the first day of its release. It is also one of the cutest games on the platform, and is one of the better games aimed at a younger audience. When I was growing up, it was always the Humongous games that were around for children. Spy Fox, Pajama Sam, Putt Putt and Freddi Fish dominated the computers of young gamers back then, but since then I’ve not really seen or heard any actual children’s games that aren’t a crap knock off of a TV show, so it’s nice that Yono is seeking to change that.
