140 is a minimalistic rhythmic platformer, developed by indie developer Carlsen Games. It’s won a couple of awards at both the Nordic Game Awards and the Independent Games Festival and it’s definitely easy to see why. The game is challenging, but incredibly fun to play through, and provides you with some excellent music that is generated by the levels you find yourself in.
Great level design.
Simplicity works really well in this game.
Bosses can be a right pain to beat.
With it’s simple yet enjoyable features and fun gameplay, it’s hard not to be a fan of Carlsen Games’ creation. 140 is a very fun game, but for me, it really did end far too soon. I didn’t expect double-digit hours spent in the game, but closer to it would have been nice. As it is, for a few hours of gameplay, it’s definitely worth picking up and enjoying.
