AVGN Adventures 1 & 2 Deluxe | Mini Review
Fairer difficulty, but still challenging gameplay and creative mission designs.
Some fun vehicle segments.
Plenty of references to the reviews.
Multiple characters in game no. 1, unlockable abilities in no. 2.
Notably improved graphics and a great soundtrack.
Cheap ambushes before checkpoints are common.
The second game recycles the same mini-boss all too often, which just pads the game out.
Occasionally frustrating boss battles.
Excessive toilet humour can get tiresome very quickly.
If you die, you’ll lose your power-up, which just feels like a lousy punishment.
