Bloody Good Time – Mini Review!

What is it?

Bloody Good Time is a first person shooter in the same vein as Team Fortress 2. It’s a cartoony shoot ’em up that lets you play on your own, or as a team to hit certain targets. There’s a lot of good humour and enjoyable gameplay, and the various different modes keep it fresh.

Platform(s)

PC

Pros
Cons
Decent selection of characters to choose from.
Many different game modes to keep it interesting.
Maps are surprisingly large.
Loads of different weapons.
Quite funny.
Only three maps.
Every time your character interacts with something, you’re left vulnerable for a few seconds.
Company dissolved shortly after it was released, so no support.

Verdict:

It was disappointing to learn that Outerlight were forced to stop trading. Bloody Good Time is exactly as it says, a bloody good time. It would have been far, far better had it had a fuller lifecycle which included DLC/patches, but it’s still fun to play with a few friends.
