Football Manager 2017 – Mini Review!

What is it?

Football Manager 2017 is the latest installment of the Football Manager franchise, to be fully released on the 4th of November. It lets players take control of almost any club they desire, and attempt to take them to glory.

Clear and slick UI design.
The usual millions of players to scout.
Wonderfully challenging.
A perfect footballing geek’s game.
New additions to the game are really good.
Player interactions need improving.

I love Football Manager – and although the game isn’t fully released yet, I’ve already put over a dozen hours into the beta. Whereas previous versions could probably be considered more a database update, FM17 definitely adds a good amount into the game. Sure, it’s not completely there yet, but I’d imagine it’s very difficult to see where is best to improve, when so much of it is near perfect. The addition of data analysts is a masterstroke and provides managers with key data that really helps on a day-to-day basis, but there are so many other facets to enjoy too. If you’ve held off on buying the past few years, this is the game to break that cycle and buy it. Highly recommend.
