Morrowind was the first open-world RPG that I ever played, and it’s one I certainly played a lot of. Having seemingly limitless options on what to do made me a very excited player, and exploring what was, at the time, an enormous, beautiful world was a fantastic experience. Stuffed with quests, side quests and guilds to join, Morrowind was one of the first gaming masterpieces I played and even now, it stands the test of time.
Diverse world to enjoy.
So many quests to do.
Loads of places to explore.
Still has a great soundtrack / sound library.
Graphics have not stood the test of time.
This game is fantastic. It was fantastic when it released over a decade ago and it’s fantastic now. There’s so much to do and see that if you start it, you’ll never want to leave the island of Vvardenfell. It has the best quests, stories and even the best dialogue in any of the Elder Scrolls games that I’ve played. It’s something that everyone just has to play.
