What is it?
Owlboy is an indie platformer game that puts you in the role of Otus, a mute owlboy, who has to try to become an adult owl. The game is all about his journey, fighting monsters and finding friends.
A little short for the price.
Not overly challenging.
Owlboy is a good game, but asking £20 for it is a bit much. You don’t get enough out of it for it to warrant that price, and it does feel as though the game is hiding it’s flaws behind a gorgeous aesthetic and wonderful soundtrack. There are some good mechanics in here, but it is fairly straight forward and never feels tricky. Worth it if you can catch it on sale.
