Pros
Cons
Contains a bite-sized selection of creative and occasionally tricky missions with various objectives.
Delves even further into the world of Splatoon lore; plenty of fun jokes to enjoy.
Completing missions will unlock lines on the subway map, so you can follow different routes to reach the revamped boss fights.
Brilliant soundtrack made up of infectious beats and chill tunes.
Bonus goodies for multiplayer mode; can also play as an Octoling!
Some very annoying missions, e.g. moving an 8-Ball by shooting it, or defending a pod from far too many enemies.
A few missions are far too easy.
You need to beat it in order to play as Octolings online.

Verdict:

Splatoon 2: Octo-Expansion cracking selection of mini-challenges with some swanky unlockables, a catchy new selection of tunes, and a surprisingly deep storyline. Some missions can be a pain, but they at least have a bit of replayability by letting you tackle them with different weapon loadouts. Overall, it’s safe to say that this is one fresh DLC!
