Suzerain is a political text-based RPG that sees you play as President Rayne, a man who is now in charge of a post-war country named Sordland. You’re able to take full control of how the country works, whether or not you want to be corrupt and try to shape the future for your country.
Lots of stories in the game.
Deep, lore rich game.
Heavy on the text.
Feels like decisions don’t really affect anything.
Bit of a slog.
Suzerain is adequate enough, and die-hard fans of the genre may well enjoy it, however it’s not something I’d recommend as an outsider. I really struggled to get through some of it, especially when it came to clicking through pages and pages of text. I’d skip it.
