Aubrey Hodges, best known for his moody and ambient soundtrack for DOOM on the PlayStation and N64, has released an extended version of the PlayStation version of Final DOOM‘s soundtrack.
The composer wrote on his Bandcamp page: “At last! Final Doom Soundtrack: 20th Anniversary Edition has arrived! Enjoy the final conclusion to my dark and brooding journey into the realms of Doom. This release features nine brand new Bonus tracks and enhanced and remastered level tracks in extra long lengths. Happy Listening!”
Williams Entertainment’s port of Final DOOM was released for the PlayStation in 1996. It’s made up of a selection of levels from the the add-ons TNT: Evilution, Plutonia, and Master Levels For DOOM II. It featured coloured lighting and support for the PlayStation Mouse, alongside the aforementioned new soundtrack.
