The first single from Lee Jackson’s new album has been released. The artist said on Bandcamp: “Underground Train is a hard bass-driven piece featuring keyboard percussion, strings, and horns in the melodic lines. It’s a game-genre piece if there ever was one!”
Interestingly, Lee wrote in a Facebook post: “Oh, and what’s with the Duke Nukem references in the track credits?” Copyright references to Gearbox, eh? Just what are you hinting at?
After composing for Duke Nukem 3D, Rise of the Trad: Dark War and more, Lee released two solo albums: Calibrations and Derivations, both of which included an elecectic selection of tracks. The first contained music from Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour, while the latter had a tune that was used in the 1998 E3 reveal trailer of Duke Nukem Forever, alongside numerous original compositions.
